The course covers responsibilities of the welder as they relate to evaluation of the weldment, the identification and classification of discontinuities, and the conditions that exist when evaluating discontinuities in order to form a conclusion as to whether the welds are of quality and acceptable or unacceptable.  The objective of the course is for each welder to learn how to identify weld discontinuities and to reduce and eliminate repair to due unacceptable welds.

The Visual Weld Inspection Training is a 32-40 hour program that can be done at our school or your local facility.

The program consists of:

2 hours of Classroom Lecture per day
Visual Weld Training Manual
Visual Weld Exam
Visual Weld Certificate of Completion
Hands on inspection, dye penetrant, and other NDT methods
