Dear All,

I am completely confused by the digits "B3L" in E80C-B3L of AWS A5.28, or "X" in E7018-X of AWS A5.5. What is exactly their meanings? The Notes below the corresponding tables do not help in understanding the logic of these designators.

Can anyone explain more detailed to me please? Many thanks.
