AISC-Steel Construction Manual,14th edition: page 16.1-400 item 7 reads:

Mixed Weld Metal

Problems can occur when incompatible weld metals are used in combination and notch-tough composite weld metal is required. For instance tack welds deposited using SMAW with aluminum deoxidizers and subsequently covered by SAW can result in a composite weld metal with low notch-toughness, despite the fact that each process by itself could provide notch-tough weld metal.
Etc..............

I wish to buy the AWS standard, specification that labels or charts compatible weld filler metals.
Can anyone help with the AWS publication/reference title?
I use the search in the bookstore with multiple word combinations, but I can not be sure if they are the right books I'm looking for.
