CURRENTLY WORKING ON A LITTLE NATURAL GAS PIPELINE. WHILE STRENGTH TESTING
THE NEW PIPE WE HAVE HAD TWO 10 " 3000# FLANGES DEVELOPE CRACKS AT ABOUT 800##
WE NEED TO TEST TO 1,000 FOR 8 HOURS. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH  THE FIRST TESTS WE DID
BUT THIS NEWE LOT OF FLANGES HAVE DIFFERENT HT NUMBERS ANY ONE ELSE HAVING PRFOBLEMS WITH
THIS MATERIAL X-234

Are you referring to ASTM A 234 steel? This material is for pipe fittings (elbows, tees, reducers), not flanges.
What do you mean by "HT numbers"?

Giovanni,
I'm going out on a limb and say that he means that he had different "heat numbers".
