These are trusses for a house there are three of them almost identical just finished them today gonna load them up a hual over to the job tomorrow.  We should start the rest of the iron installion next week will take pics as I go. The trusses are 22 feet tall 8 feet wide 12 on 12 pitch made out of 6 x 6 x 1/2 square tube they weigh right at 2000 lbs a piece

Very nice job will have about four to five days of just welding when all the beams are set its a very unique  house

Got all the trusses two more pieces of beam and one more 40 ft joint of 5x5x1/2 tube to go with the rest the iron loaded and delivered gonna start hanging iron tomorrow.

No its not its coming more common though I did one a few years back that was bigger than this one

hell I'm doing a house right now that has a 110,000lbs of red iron in it.

Holy crap thats a lot of red iron this house has about 25, 000 lbs of steel in. If I can get the pics on to my computer from the one I did 3 yrs back I will post pics of it

Looking good! Still can't get over the fact that it's a house!! Must be the home of one of the multi millionaires Rick Perry convinced to move to Texas from Komifornia for lower taxes!!! LOL!!

The first time I seen your post i figured an archway....your making an lazy architects job easy.   Looks like good work to me...you getting paid for install too...(might have missed that).   Anyway I am proud for ya...those are the kinda jobs make a welding job shop fly.  Go GET EM.  Excellent.

Yeah I get paid for the install work to I went back over there today and weld a lot of clips and bolts on so the could cover all of it in wood and blowed holes in the beams to bolt wood beams in them.
