I know that this has been discussed before but I need some fresh input.
In Table 4.5 Item #3, for GTAW,  the code states that a change from one electrode or flux-electrode classification to any other electrode or flux-electrode classification requires a new wps to be qualified. 
According to AWS 5.18, ER70S-2, and ER70S-6 are different electrode classifications.
So I interpret this to mean, if I have a WPS for using ER70S-2 and the only variable that I want to change is to use ER70S-6, a new WPS must be qualified for the ER70S-6.

What are your thoughts on this?
