The Dynasty 350 is getting long in tooth as the premier TIG machine. The Aerowave seemed invincible before the Dynasty. What's next and when?

Stringer,

What else would you like a TIG machine to do?

My opinion is that 95% of all GTAW production work done with the $9000 Dynastys is being accomplished within the parameter ranges that can be delivered by a $4000 Synchrowave.

Don't get me wrong... I like Dynasty!

I think the future for sheet metal is with GMAWP
Lincoln, Miller and Fronius all make GMAWP power supplies that can produce X-ray or highest quality welds on thin materials in aluminum and stainless steels down to .040 and even thinner materials.   Some of these machines can even synchronize pulse the wire feed with the current to make MIG welds that only an expert could tell were not TIG

GTAW with Dynasty  4 inches per minute
GMAWP....................20 inches per minute

I think waking up to this reality is the next big breakthrough  :)
