I'm interested in finding out from any welding instructors who are involved with the Skills USA Vica conferences if they would recommend the organization. If so, why, if not, why?

i help with the local vica contest every year in ar. hot springs last 2 years, little rock prior to that.
it is a realy good program for all the kids in every catagory not just welding.
i help with equipment set up and some judging, and provide all the gas and torch equipment, miller provides most of the welding power sources and some lincoln.
what i have seen at all the ones i have judged the kids don.t get much blue print reading, so the way they put together the weld project that they weld and are judged on are sometimes a lot different.
i do recomend it very much
