What kind of boroscope do you recommend for inspecting stainless steel sanitary piping?

Bit of a wide open question, depends on budget and requirements. Rental may be an option if its an irregular or opportunistic occurrence. Olympus make some stock industry gear but GEC also make some leading edge stuff at cheaper retail price, at least in Europe.

Dont forget to remove your sunglasses when you check for discoloration

You might want to consider a fiberscope with video capability if you are working on anything other than straight runs of pipe.

As this is sanitary piping, video is a MUST (I will Assume)

Olympus Iplex series is the way to go.
