Can anybody please explain me the para 403.5 of ASME IX , for P & group no qualification?

Please be informed that we have carried out the PQR of P No-01 Group no.01 materials with notch toughness test (including HAZ).

With reference to above, May I weld or establish a WPS of P No-01 Group no.02 materials as per ASME Section IX latest edition?

Actually we have made a PQR for A333 Gr6 to A333 Gr6 and we would like to use the same PQR with A333 Gr6 to SA-350 LF2 .

If the production welds don't call for impact test, then you can use the existing PQR. Instead if they call for impact test,
then as per ASME IX, QW-403.5 you are not able to qualify for SA-333 6 to SA-350 LF2 with a PQR SA-333 6 to SA-333 6
except if you have a second PQR SA-350 LF2 to SA-350 LF2 provided that the two PQRs have the same essential and
supplementary essential variables and both of them have been performed with impact test. Please have a look at this link:
