I've been unsuccessful in locating any regulatory or consensus standards with guidelines regarding welding and jewelry/piercings safety.

Is there anything like that around that either suggest or mandates certain safety guidelines? I've surrounded by Missourians (show me)...

Have you looked in OSHA, AWS Shop Safety Guidelines, AISC Safey. I'll have to look up exact titles tomorrow. There are things out there, but they are not a total ban or prohibition.

Most times it is in Employee Policy Programs, Company Safety Policies, etc.
