Up on a job today doing some grinding and could not resist a few pictures of the current welds. Some of the welds are as thick as they are wide, 3/8 to 1/2 of build up!! Excessive reinforcement?? Undercut all the way up the weld on a few of them, found a 3/4" booger hanging off one.

One day when I grow up I hope I can lay down beads like these!!
