Yep, I did it. Passed the d1.1. I got my results a couple of days ago.
Sure glad I passed it on the first try. There were a lot of folks retaking it.

Yes, I took the seminar.  I learned quit a bit. I probably learned more about where to find information than I actually will retain.
I did pass on my first attempt. I was amazed at how many retakes there were.

The majority of the job is knowing where to find the information.  That is more critical than being able to quote or remember information.  Especially when you start working jobs that keep you moving from code to code.  Keeping them straight can be a major challenge if you try to go from memory.  Always look it up, no matter how sure you are.  And put the code references in your reports.
