So,....  driving through Tioga, ND today.... saw a machine that looked new in a Vantage frame....   had stickers something like D 450....  or something? Any news / intel on any new machines coming out? Considering getting a new machine as mine's getting some hours on it now....   anyone?  DL

It is a vantage but worked over by Red-d-Arc.  I don't know how much they change besides new stickers.  The one I used was exactly like a 400 vantage

Red D Arc DX450.  Red-D-Arc Welderentals is a Airgas company.  Lincoln makes the welders which usually come out of their Toronto Canada branch.   Years ago was a Ranger 450 but they just disappeared never seen one again.   Links show the DX450 and the Lincoln operators manual gives the specs on them.  Kubota 2403-M, 4 cylinder, 35.4 hp @ 1800 rpm.  High idle 1880, Full load 1800, Low idle 1400.  DC constant current 30-500 amps.  DC pipe current 30-300 amps.  Touch start tig 20-250 amps.  DC constant voltage 14-36 volts.  Arc gouging 90-450 amps.  Max weld OCV @ rated load rpm 60 volts.  11KW auxiliary power single phase, 17KW three phase.
