Anyone ever use this stuff to reseal a gas tank?? I have a gas tank that I sand blasted for my Lincoln sa 200 both inside and out I blasted it really well and found 3 pin holes that I Tig welded on up and am still here to talk about it :) Just wanted to find out if anyone used POR 15 or have heard anything good about it?? The top half oof the tank is rusted and it may hold diesel fuel but want to make sure t doesn't leak using this sealant.

Thanks
Chris

I used it on a tiller gas tank and it worked very well. I would have no reservations using it again.
Give it a try, I bet it will work.

read a lot of bad stuff about it peeling after a couple of years i have debated to do this or just build a aluminum tank which i think I could squeeze a little more capacity out of it to

The ethanol fuel will eat it up eventually. If you have the time the aluminum tank would be the best bet.
