What files are you guys using that are actually holding up?? Nicholson is junk they just don't seem to last. I have heard of Grobet supposedly there USA made has anyone tried them??
Any other names of files that are good, i don't mind spending more for a file that will last a while. My nicholson i swear i don't think I have used it that much really and it's worn out quick. http://www.grobetusa.com/half-round-files-2/

Thanks
Chris

Shop around eBay is not always the best price.

I did a quick look and found this file for $18.29 see http://www.shamrocksupply.com/itemDetailFilterPH.action?RFP=IFD&IDP=Y&codeId=15599562

Look around

Chris,

No matter 'WHO' makes it, you can't just buy any file.  Almost all manufacturer's make different grades, cut/grit, as well as the obvious various styles.  Make sure you are getting the file you need.

Having said that, there are definitely specialty outfits that manufacture for specialized trade applications.  The previous other poster gave a good one.
