I don't own a handbook anymore. I vaguely remember an article from the handbook stating that xxx0/xxx1 SMAW electrodes should not be stored in a rod oven above 130F at anytime.

Does anyone have the page? It's really all I need. Hell a phone picture would work for me. 912-202-7480

The Welding Inspection Handbook makes some references on pages 38 & 39 about the correct storage and use of 6010 vs. low hydrogen electrodes but does not state a temperature.

I think you best location is the manufacturer's specifications on the electrodes in question.

Sir,
Five patent welding etc. Talk Lincoln and/or --. My view is if dry and box they came in looks good go. Did a 1104 job and had welders burn two inches on strike plates and use the electrodes after a thunder Shower. No problem with X-Ray. Other crew bad X-Ray next to us! Am looking for work.
Sincerely
