Welcome to the forum Waynew.

The problem is that the people who are qualified to teach pipe welding in the oil and gas sector are earning well over 100k annually.

Regular hours and less travel is nice, but is it worth the 70% pay reduction a teachers salary offers?

1st year graduates of your program will out earn the instructors in many cases in the oil and gas sector.
