I've been given some promotional rod (10 lb can) goes by the name McKay Hobart 7018 XLM and I really like it. USA manufacture. I've always asked for Atom Arc when someone else is paying but their 10 lb cans are now $2.50 lb.
I don't know what the XLM costs when they quit handing it to me for free, and I don't have charpys or anything, but it runs very nice.

Can you tell what the hydrogen rating is from a label anywhere on it?

Is it supposed to be similar to Lincoln Excalibur?  Could probably look it up myself, just thought I would ask.
