WPS for A335 P9/A335 P91

Code ASME IX, we have a WPS for A335 P91-A335P91 with ER90s, can we use the same procedure for A335-P9 /A335P91 using ER80s-B8 ? all rest of variables are same.

The minimum specified tensile strength of the filler metal is 80 ksi. The minimum tensile strength of the base metal is 85 ksi. Did you consider the A number of the filler metal? If the change from 80 to 90 ksi filler metal affects a change in the A number, that would be considered an essential variable.

ER80s-B8 and ER90s-B9 are F=6 A=5

i am checking QW 404-12 because for GTAW , change of filler metal (classification) is a supplementary esencial variable

B8 would be an acceptable choice for filler but you are changing base metals as well.
