Hi All,
I am new here and needed some input.

If a group is designing class A (failure will cause loss of crew, aircraft, or mission) type weldments for aircraft and serving as the engineering authority for those weldments should that group have someone with some kind of accreditation for the understanding or operating welding specifications.

Any advice is greatly needed.
