We have a PQR for a CJP weld, which was carried out using 25mm thick S355 J2+N, which the test piece was CVN tested.

My question is, does our PQR cover use for all fillet welds, both multi and single run, as per table 4.2, because our original test piece was CVN tested, therefore no supplementary testing is required and therefore annex III and table 4.6 are not applicable?

Hello Andrew,

Make sure you put somewhere in the post that you are working to year XXXX AWS D1.1. Always try to be as specific as possible to get the best answers. If you wouldn't have thrown CVN testing in there I would say the answer to your question is yes, but I'm not going to dig on that one especially with the exact specification not listed.
