For random radiography, once the lot is approved and is compliant to code. What is the interpretation of the code for additional radiography spot checks ?

If one of the additional radiography fails for porosity are penalties needed for that welder ?

Thanks

He has to forgo one lunch for each failed radiograph.

If he experiences four bad joints in succession, he has to stand in the corner with his helmet on backwards.

Al's got his funny bone working again...
I like that Al, sounds like a good way to teach a Welder the err of his ways.

Apatani -
It all depends on the code your working under and the fine print in the contract or agreed upon ITP (Inspection and Testing Plan).
Neither you or we can answer your question without that info.
Penalties for busting RT range from nothing - to fixing your own crap - to what Al said - and to immediate termination.
It all depends on the job specifics.
