The E 308 filler has more carbon in it than the E 308L whereby the "L" stands for low carbon grade...

Now you mentioned: 308L filler was used to do the procedure qualification? Well first off, to which code or standard is the procedure from? As Lawrence mentioned before: "Let us know the specifications you are to be in compliance with." In order to give you a intelligent suggestion okay?
