SUMMARY:
Rapidly expanding consulting firm with offices in all New England States is aggressively seeking NDT/CWI inspectors for positions throughout New England.  Specifically, CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR.  Successful candidates will possess an outstanding attention to detail, can read and understand construction plans, accurately document and report collected information, and possess the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Perform internal and external inspections to determine if weldments and bolts meet the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document.
•  Interpret regulations, codes and industry standards to apply to daily tests and inspections
•  Compile and submit inspection reports, daily
•  Perform other construction materials testing and inspection, when necessary

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
•  Must possess or acquire within ninety days of hire Certified Welding Inspector certification (AWS CWI)
•  Must possess 5 years of experience in the steel industry
•  Extensive knowledge of industry standards including AWS and ASTM required
•  Working knowledge of NDT methodologies a plus
•  Level II: UT, MT, PT, VT experience and/or certification desired
•  Must be able to travel out of town 50% or more of the time and work various shifts
•  ACI, ICC, CWI, EIT, P.E., NETTCP, NICET, OSHA, and/or any other relevant certifications
