Our welding work shop is going to open soon. construction work is almost completed except the flooring. As we are using heavy materials on this floor, the floor must be perfect for such works. We were searching for some companies which provide protective concrete coatings in Richmond Hill. We already discussed about this with some companies, and we have to finalize it soon. What kind of flooring would be perfect for a welding workshop? Is there anything else we must consider in the construction?

If there will be cutting/burning and welding, I would suggest having small, manageable pieces of plate available to toss on the floor where the slag from these operations may hit the floor and pile up. If the slag is allowed to pool up on the floor, the concrete will spall regardless of any coatings applied to the surface.
