Question is: What plate repair is required when a 3/4inch long discontinuity is discovered in a oxygen-cut edge? Actual sample test question.
I am thinking none, but depends on the depth. (any welding could make it worse)But is up to engineering. May need a new WPS.
OK please point me in the general direction in D1.1 2015 I found several areas that deal with this, but still not happy with my results.
