Try this. Remember to include the weld size and length.

Like Al stated, include the weld size and length,

...note that if no length is shown, it is implied that the weld shall be continuous.

If an intermittent fillet weld is intended, then also show the frequency. ie 2"-12" meaning place a two inch weld every twelve inches

As JW stated and for additional clarification the 2" length of intermittent weld 12" spacing would be center to center of the 2" length of intermittent weld and 12" spacing (pitch) not end to beginning of intermittent weld segments. AWS has a very thorough specification A2.4 2012 Standard Symbols for Welding, Brazing, and Nondestructive Examination. It also has an annex on the ISO 2553 Welding Symbols.

As alluded to in general comment from the other posts, it would be Impossible to accurately sketch a proper welding symbol from this one view. First, as already stated, we have no idea if these are continuous fillet welds or intermittent fillet welds. Also, if they are intermittent fillet welds are they staggered? My answer to the original question is to not read into a welding symbol what isn’t there. The only thoughtful answer would be to contact the customer and have them red line the drawing. Trying to outguess the engineer’s intent will most often lead to inspector malpractice. In a case like this, the customer would most probably have standing before the court. Read don’t write   On another note, the question was welding symbol not weld symbol
