We have to qualify welder as per ASME Sec IX. We have taken 9mm thick test coupon . Welder deposited only 3mm welding by GTAW process. Now Test pc is subjected to radiography.If radiography is acceptable then whether the welder is qualified or not for a single process without filling the complete thickness.
