I just need some information or opinion due to welder qualification for welding position on tubular. basically the connection of welding is single bevel preparation with tubular joint to plate. For this joint we used 6GR welder qualification to welding until complete weld. It possible if we used welder qualified for 6G and only welding filler until capping. anyone can advice on this issue??? Note: the guideline we used AWS D1.1 2010
