According to Table 4.6 'statement "A change in position to vertical up. A 3G vertical up test qualifies for all positions and vertical down"

I need to re-qualify my existing welding procedure for CVN test. Both procedures has same base metal but different position. One is 2G and another one is 3G. Based on the statement in Table 4.6 above, I just need to prepare one test coupon and welding on 3G position for CVN test for both procedure. So only 3 specimen is needed if I choose for Option A to cover both procedure. Am I correct? Please advise.
