High speed and close up (*edit*) watching it closer you can see WC particles Bouncing off the weld puddle :eek:

Very interesting. My bias against flux core stands. It's even uglier up close.

The NiWC was a flux core wire then? I've never run one or even had occasion to look into them
I thought it was just the nickle oxide skin that was floating along the back edge of the puddle.

Good video, and thanks for posting. I only wish they would explain all those micros in the photo gallery, and update their website. Also, they don't reply to e-mail inquiries.
