If the contract stipulates AWS D1.1, then the WPS's must be in compliance with AWS D1.1 Clause 4 or clause 3

Hi Popatrao

Two things

1.  You will get better response if you start your own thread rather than posting on an old one that is not related to you.

2.  You are going to have to give us quite a bit more data about your project before anything helpful can be given to you.

Titanium is not like other metals, we don't know what alloy you are using... We don't know what service it will see... We don't know what welding process you must use... We do not know what code or specification your project must comply with....

How can we be even a little helpful unless you tell us something about your work?

Oxy-acetylene! The only way to go. Not.

Hello everyone, My name is Ralph Ishmael. I am new to this Forum and I am currently attending my second year at Mitchell Technical Institute for welding. So I definitely have a lot to learn. I have been contemplating attempting to take the 6G Pipe certification. I was wondering if anyone could give me their best advice on how to attack it. Special angles, different patterns, etc. Whatever helped you to succeed this first milestone. All advice is well appreciated and I am very excited to be starting my journey in the AWS welding world!

What criteria can cause a welder to fail in achieving this coming certification test?
