Are the samples in this kit the same style as the exam? with different defects?

The weld replicas for the Part B of the CWI exam is unique.

Nobody has a copy of this.   The AWS does not even use the exact same replicas for the CWI training.  They are similar and used in the same way... But the replicas for the actual exam are stored in the welding version of Fort Knox.

That makes sense. But training with the kit available would go a long way for the exam.
