Have 121 volts at exciter I weld three rods and drops to 113 volts, rpm 1550 have a digital tach for that.
Also brushes are all new and seated. Exciter coils read 175 ohams, I also put different exciter armature in and same results. It welds great but lose power to grinder the ocvs drop to 81 from the 92 when cold. I just discovered that when I go to the minimum range on 5 range selection and 100 on rheostat it nearly stops my Kubota 57 hp what's up with this thing
