hi,

I got an inquiry yesterday regarding the welding of BS 4449 FE 460 gr rebar to S275jr plate welding ( Flare bevel groove Weld) ,

please advice whether i can go with D1.1 or D1.4 ?

Please don't double post.

You didn't get many replies because you are welding steels that are not familiar with most Americans.

If you are welding steels that are not listed (recognized) by an American welding standard, you will have to qualify it per the applicable welding code. In your other post, the responder recommended AWS D1.4 which covers reinforcing steel. I concur given the limited information provided.
