I am looking to certify as robotic welding operator. I was wondering, what are some of the different certifications that I can try for? I am also wondering if industries even care about that, or would rather just train us for the positions themselves?

Same advice as in the other Robotic Welding thread.

The company that hires you will perform a 'Qualification' test. Any previous certifications, etc, will show them that you can and have passed tests in the past. Very few will accept them and not perform their own test.
