While joining of low alloy steel with high alloy steel which joining alloy should be used??
Welding Alloy that matches composition of high alloy steel or welding alloy that matches that matches composition of low alloy??

Hi Ketan,
Welcome to the Original AWS Forum.

In general, match the lower strength steel, but size the weld to take the expected load.
The theory is that the low alloy steel was selected because it will see less stress than the high alloy steel. So no need to over kill it.
