Hey y’all

Under ASME Section IX, for welder qualifications, how should I go about the guided bend test for .840” O.D x .281” wall that was welded in the 6G position? When reading QW-452.1(a) Note 1 is requiring a total of 4 bend specimens for 5G and 6G qualifying positions. Does that mean 2 face and 2 root bends or 4 side bends? Confused on that. (Or is it 1 face and 1 root bend) I’m sure note 1 is for my situation? I don’t know if anything else is expected for small diameter pipe when guided bend test is concerned. How should I layout the pipe for test cuts? What is the width needed and we’re can I reference this in the code book? QW-302.3 suggests QW-463.2 (d) & QW-463.2 (e) as examples but I’m not sure,do to the fact it being such a small diameter. Thanks for any help in advance. Let me know if any additional info would be needed. I feel I covered my question.
Thanks, y’all.

Updated: QW-462.3(a) Note 2 is where I think I found part of the answer. Can someone agree or disagree that this answers the above question?

Thx...
