What would be the range qualified when GTAW process is used and filler metal ER70S-2? QW-404.14 (I believe that’s the correct paragraph) says the addition and deletion of filler. what would this mean when qualifying for WPQ with filler metal used to qualify?Does qualify for only welding with filler or with or without when filler metal is used? If filler metal is used, such as in my case, does that qualify for all filler metals in that particular F-No.? What Should the WPQR state when filler was used? I assume using filler for this process would qualify only for welding with filler because adding or deleting the filler would have to requalify, thus welding with filler can only qualify for welding with filler. I think Thats correct? What should the range qualified state? Only for QW-404.14, I understand the rest.
