hi . when i was selecting  the wire and shielding gas for armox plates i found that the ( stainless steel   wire 307 si 1.2  and shielding gas is Ar 98 % and 2% O2)
i selected that according to handbook2016 KOBELCO  and  c1.10 lincoln elec  So What i want know is that the best choose for consumable  or is there  better consumable for armox  ??

I'm not familiar with Armox? It sounds like it is hard and abrasion resistant. Do you have the chemistry of the base metal available? Did you contact the manufacturer to ask if they have any recommendations?

I did a quick Google search and see there are several alloys available. There are filler metal recommendations on their site that are specific to each alloy family.

The only way to know for sure is to perform testing.
Higher grade Armox can be temperamental.
