Hi everyone,

I am stucked with one issue for PJP joint. i am finding Aligned porosity and LF at the bottom of Fillet joint which is PJP.

Is it to be accepted as it is or shall cause for rejection?

I am referring MIL-STD-1894 B. As per defination given in Cl.2 of the said standard unfused area is not a cause for rejection.

Not familiar with that particular military standard.

Fillet welds are not PJP groove welds, so the criteria applicable to a PJP groove weld is not applicable.

I'm more confused than Al, as usual.

Now, a PJP in a T joint I could understand.  But, I have never even heard of a Fillet Joint.  Can't find it in A2.4 either.  Probably a waste of time but I had to try.  Always willing to learn something new.

He Is In Control, Have a Great Day,  Brent
