Dear friends!!
I have doubts in the qualified range in this WPS, where it limits 24mm. Would not it be 2T ?? That is, 36mm ?? Or if there is a limitation on which QW of ASME IX or Paragrafo of ASME B31.3 lists this information.

WPS with PWHT and Impact Testing

I ask the help of the most experienced friends.

thank you

One would have review the PQR to determine the range based on the thickness of the test coupon.

You have noted B31.3 and impact tested so the range of ASME IX (2 x T) is not applicable.
B31.3 lists range as 1/2 T to T + 6mm so an 18 mm PQR would give you a qualification range of 9 mm to 24 mm.

I would not accept this WPS based on deposited weld metal noted.
GTAW = 5 mm max and SMAW = 13 mm max which gives a total of 18 mm max but WPS is supposedly qualified to 24 mm thickness ??
Cheers,
Shane
