I am looking for some help on an sa200 welder, I am more of an auto mechanic and can’t seem to get this welder to run properly if anyone is in the Kansas City area I’d gladly pay to have someone come take a look at it! Just send me an email or call me 9134061878

Perhaps if you described what its doing or not doing someone here might have a suggestion on what might help.

I'm certainly no mechanic, but I owned a 1971 SA200 for a number of years.
Every issue I ever had with mine was magneto related.
Best thing I ever did to my SA200 was install an electronic ignition.

Well I just got done rebuilding the engine, magneto and replaced pretty much everything but the carb, I am just not sure if the idle is correct and it seems pretty hard to start, I have to crank for quite a bit.

Check the gap at the flywheel to magneto so you get a nice bright spark at the plug, check the float level in the carb to make sure it is set at the right height, check the pilot jet to make sure it is clear and not partially clogged.
Just a few things I could think of off the top of my head that could make it hard to start.
