Dual Enrollment Program
High School Enrollment is an opportunity for students presently attending a public, private high school or home education program to enroll tuition-free concurrently in courses offered by Palm Beach Community College. Dual Enrollment credits count toward the high school diploma as well as a post-secondary diploma, certificate or degree at a Florida post-secondary educational institution. Grades earned will become part of the student’s permanent high school and college transcripts.General Requirements
· Guidance counselor recommendation · Completion of sophomore year (10th grade) · Appropriate SAT/ACT/FCELPT (CPT) scores · Forms must be completed and signed by parents and counselors · Students must earn at least a “C” in each college course to remain in the program
Minimum requirements to participate in Dual Enrollment:~ Obtain a Dual Enrollment Permission Form from the high school principal/guidance counselor or designee. ~ Complete a PBCC Credit or PSAV Application (depending on the type of dual enrollment desired) ~ Have parental permission ~ Satisfy all course prerequisites.
