Hello everybody. I'm new here, just join to ask for now one question :wink:

So I'll have to weld tank of 1" steel. That will be about 8' diameter and about 15' lenght. I'll have access to weld from both sides. My question is if can I bevel that by 1/2V (best way for me cause less welding and beveling) or should be that beveled by V,X or K?
I'll weld that with MIG flux core and some stick.

There will be a ton of questions before you can get an answer.

Since you don't seem to have been given much direction on how to weld this by your employer....Is this a farm job?
