We have an argument at our factory - We have to weld a bushing on a pipe using an all around fillet weld.
considering that we would like to use AWS D17.1, and that the tube dimensions are : DIA.=4in. thickness, THK, =0.125''
what is the dimension that determines the thickness of the qualification test we should use : the bushing's thickness (parllel to the pipe)
or it's height (perpendicular to the pipe)?
