Hello,

I have an issue / question regarding qualification for cladding/overlay.
To be on the subject...I have 2 base materials and 1 wire for cladding:

1. I need to cladd with Monel 400 on ASTM A350 LF.6 CL.2 base material
2. I need to cladd with Monel 400 on ASTM A694 F65 base material

According ASME IX both material are in P No 1. Do I need to have a PQR/WPS for each of them or it is enough only 1 for both?
Also, the PWHT it is not required because the materials are in P No. 1, correct?

I'm a little bit confused regarding qualification.
And the same thing for welder, if a welder is qualified for 1 material then it's qualified also for the second one because are in the same P no, correct?

Did I miss something here...?

Thank you!
R
