I'm designing a frame out of tube steel to support overhead roadway signs. The top chord will be connected using studs welded to the post that will accept a connection plate welded to the chord with a hole patten that will match the threaded stud pattern. Does anyone know what fatigue stress catagory this connection detail falls in?
