Hello,

Im having a hard time finding the section in D1. 6 that tells me if i need to do a  2g, 3g and 4g to cover all positions. Can anybody assist? I need to know what positions of PQRs I'll need to cover all positions.

Thanks

Hello,

In the 2017 Edition, 6.7.1 and 6.7.2 it is only for groove weld I am yet to find anything on qualifying for fillet welds.

To be honest I am 99.99% sure that those sections apply to your question, but the 0.01% uncertainty made me post a post last week on the subject. Hopefully someone with more experience than me replies lol
